Delete your account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Intu AI account (operated by Intuition Education) and what happens to your data. Intu AI provides AI tutoring, quizzes, practice exams, marking and study tools.

How to request deletion

You can request account deletion in either of these ways:

In the app: open the More tab → Account → Delete account, then confirm. This files your request immediately.
By email: write to hello@intu.com.au from the email address on your account, asking us to delete it.

What gets deleted

Once your request is actioned, we permanently remove the personal data that identifies you, including:

your name, email address and login credentials;
your profile and preferences (year level, subjects, chosen tutor/coach);
your chats, quizzes, quiz attempts, uploaded work and marking results;
your study materials, flashcards, spoken-answer recordings and progress;
any active subscription record tied to your account.

What may be kept, and for how long

Deletion window: requests are actioned within 30 days. We email you at your account address to confirm once it is complete.
De-identified data: aggregate or anonymised information that can no longer be linked to you may be retained for product analytics.
Legal/financial records: where we are legally required to keep certain records (for example, billing/tax records), these are retained only for the period the law requires and then deleted.
Backups: residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup rotation.
